I came in from a day of scuba diving looking for a new experience and it did not take long to find it at Joe’s and the ridiculous, incredible adventure I was about to discover as I sank my taste buds into my first stone crab.  I had flown fellow colleagues to Miami for an off site reinvention meeting. The next morning, I ordered at least one-hundred properly cracked, sweet, and delicious claws for the team that disappeared in a blink.

My memories with all of you have been rekindled every year since 1960 (coming up on 60 years) when the season begins a few days after my birthday (10/5) and continues until May.  I recommend you and your services to anyone who will listen. Thank you for allowing me to share. I will see you this year and every year I am blessed to enjoy.

In 1975 I was 18 years old. My Dad and his buddies wanted to take their eldest sons with them for a mini vacation to Miami. We went to Joe’s Stone Crabs one night and what I remember most was the waiter carrying a tray of claws that seemed like it was 36 inches wide stacked with claws 24 inches high; he was carrying it with one hand extended above his head.  Wow! It made me never want to be a waiter.

We first had stone crabs at Joe’s in the 1950’s. While living in Miami we regularly went to Joe’s to have those delicious claws. Since we have moved north, we order from Joe’s online. I have traveled all over the world and eaten at some of the finest restaurants. None surpass Joe’s Stone Crab for food, service, and atmosphere.

I celebrated my 50th birthday in 1997 at Joe’s.  I don’t get down to Miami as much anymore, but every winter we have friends over to our house to have a Stone Crab feast that we order from Joe’s. It’s always a fun night.

My first memory of Joe’s Stone Crab was working for Eastern Airlines as a flight attendant. I was flying  a trip from San Juan to Miami and the flight crew had a layover. Our stop for dinner that night was Joe’s Stone Crab. That was back in 1974; I now live in Texas and have Joe’s Mail order 🤗🤗🤗

Joe’s is such a special place. My husband and I went to Joe’s for the first time right before we left on our wedding cruise. That was the beginning of our love affair with Joe’s. Since that time we’ve ordered stone crabs from them every Valentine’s Day. Each time we leave for a cruise, we stop in as a way of saying, let the vacation begin! Joe’s is our go-to place when we want something special and luxurious to celebrate our time together. Cheers to many more years of including Joe’s in our special occasions!

My favorite restaurant by far is Joe’s. It was such a treat when my boyfriend surprised me for my birthday and brought me here. Everything was perfect. The service. The food. And the company was exceptional. I hope we can make Joe’s a birthday tradition.

Once we get to Joe’s, we sit down and the waiter takes our order. As our appetizers come to the table, I grab my share of the food and Jason takes it away from me as soon as it hits my plate. I look at him like “what are you doing?” And he goes, “you don’t want that!” And as I go to grab my food back, another waiter comes over with a big stone crab that has a ring box inside. At first I didn’t see the box and was very confused because we didn’t order stone crabs. I was about to send it back, until Jason pointed out the box. I still was very confused as to what was going on. It happened so fast. As Jason started to get down on one knee, I see Steven around the corner with his camera on, so right away I realize what is going on and just start hysterically crying. It was surreal and the craziest, most emotional, yet best feeling in the entire world. I wish I could relive it again and again!
