Last year my wife and I had an idea. Let’s spend a day in Miami as if we were tourists traveling with two of our closest couple friends (some of us have lived in Miami as far back as 1961). I came across an ad in a tourist magazine in Miami, for sailing during a Sunset at Biscayne Bay. I added the idea of carrying with us a picnic basket with enough Joe’s Stone Crabs for all of us, including the boat captain, with coleslaw, white wine, a Cuban dessert, champagne and Cuban coffee in a thermos bottle. It turned out to be one of the best tours we had ever undertaken from around the world, and it happened here in our own backyard!  Sometimes the good old times are looking at you right in your face, right at home! We are all in our 70’s, but that cruise with Joe’s will always be unforgettable!
